PerfectConnect – Terms of Use: Housing, Matching & Community

1. About Our Services

PerfectConnect offers a platform that supports the Au Pair cultural exchange journey through three key features:

PairConnect – Users must not create multiple profiles, misrepresent their identity, or use false photos when connecting. All matches should be approached respectfully and in alignment with program values.

PairHaven – Supports Au Pairs in transition (e.g., during rematch or extension periods) by helping them find short-term housing opportunities. This does not replace or override agency procedures and must be used in line with agency protocol.

PairLink – PairLink is intended for forming platonic, peer-based friendships only. Any use for dating, inappropriate interactions, or off-platform solicitation is a violation of these Terms.

Platform Notice – PerfectConnect is a mobile application designed to support the au pair and host family community through connection, housing, workshops, and social engagement. The app is available for download on supported devices through the Apple App Store and Google Play. All features are developed for mobile-first use, and users are expected to maintain an internet connection for the best experience. PerfectConnect operates exclusively for lawful, genuine use within the au pair and host family ecosystem. Misuse of the platform—including use for dating, solicitation, impersonation, or unrelated personal services—is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

2. Using the App

PerfectConnect is available as a full mobile application on iOS and Android. By using any version of the app—including mobile apps or the web platform—you agree to these Terms.

2.1 Match (PairConnect)

PairConnect is used by Au Pairs and Host Families to search, view, and connect with potential matches. Users can set preferences such as availability, location, and program criteria. Once a match is found, users may unlock in-app messaging using credits to begin communication and explore compatibility.

2.2 Housing (PairHaven)

When the exit interview has taken place and both the Au Pair and Host Family are aware that the Au Pair will enter the rematch process (typically two weeks or until a new placement is confirmed), and either party chooses not to continue the stay during this transition period, the Au Pair may be required to vacate the host home. Traditionally, the Au Pair may stay with their LCC (Local Childcare Consultant), but space is not always available.

PerfectConnect provides a digital platform (PairHaven) to help Au Pairs locate temporary housing options with families who are open to hosting during this in-between phase. However, PerfectConnect is strictly a tool for connection—we do not place, assign, supervise, or guarantee housing arrangements.

Temporary housing on PairHaven may only be used with the written or contractual approval of the Au Pair's current Agency (only agencies that are partnered with PerfectConnect), the Host Family, and the LCC involved. PerfectConnect is not liable for any aspect of the arrangement, including—but not limited to—matching, housing conditions, transportation, communication, or safety.

All users are fully responsible for their decisions and interactions both on and off the platform. It is the user's duty to inform and receive proper clearance from their Agency, Host Family, or LCC before pursuing any temporary housing arrangement.

2.3 Friend finder/Community (PairLink)

PairLink allows Au Pairs to connect with other Au Pairs nearby for friendship and social support. Through location-based results, Au Pairs can find others in their area, share experiences, and join conversations or meetups. PairLink is designed to help Au Pairs feel less isolated and more supported during their time in the U.S.

These features are intended solely for cultural exchange and community-building purposes and must be used respectfully and in accordance with these Terms of Use.

2.4 Community (PairSocials and Blog)

PairSocials is PerfectConnect's dedicated community space for connection, support, and inspiration. Similar to a social network or forum, PairSocials allows au pairs, host families, and users to post questions, share experiences, and engage in positive discussion.

This section of the app also includes:

  • PerfectConnect Blog – A curated collection of articles and tips related to the au pair journey, cultural exchange, safety, wellness, and more. Posts are written or approved by PerfectConnect and may include affiliate links or references.

By using PairSocials and its related features, you agree to:

  • Follow the PairSocials Community Guidelines (see Section 2.5)
  • Not misrepresent yourself when posting or engaging
  • Respect the safety, privacy, experiences, and contributions of all users
  • Not distribute or reproduce blog content without permission

2.6 PairBloom (Workshops)

PairBloom is PerfectConnect's educational workshop hub, offering users access to content designed to support cultural exchange, learning, and growth. Topics may include language learning, cultural orientation, personal development, and childcare skills.

Some workshops are free, while others may require credit purchases or payments. By participating in PairBloom workshops, you agree to:

  • Not share or exploit paid workshop content unlawfully
  • Understand that workshops are for educational purposes only and do not substitute for professional certification or legal advice
  • Only access content through your own registered account
  • Not attempt to record, repost, or distribute workshop material without permission

All blog and workshop materials are subject to copyright protections and may not be republished, downloaded, or redistributed without written consent from PerfectConnect. Use of PairBloom and related content does not imply endorsement or professional equivalence. Any questions about workshops can be directed through our Contact Page by submitting a message using the contact form.

2.7 Community Guidelines

To keep PerfectConnect a safe, respectful, and empowering space for Au Pairs and Host Families, all users agree to follow our Community Guidelines:

  • Respect others. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated — online or offline.
  • Be truthful. Use your real identity and provide accurate profile information. Misleading, fake, or impersonated accounts may be removed.
  • No inappropriate content. Content that is obscene, violent, sexually explicit, or promotes harm will be removed and may result in account suspension.
  • Don't spam. Mass messaging, unsolicited promotions, or external recruitment outside of intended platform use is strictly prohibited.
  • Protect your own safety. Never share sensitive personal info (like banking info or addresses) with others. Always use caution when interacting off the platform.
  • Report issues. If you notice suspicious, inappropriate, or harmful behavior, please report it to us immediately through the app or by submitting a message via our Page.

The PerfectConnect app is available for download via the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of the app through iOS or Android is also subject to the respective platform's terms of service. By downloading or using the app, you agree to those terms in addition to this agreement.

By using any part of the app — including messaging, matching, housing, or friend features — you agree to abide by these rules. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these guidelines, with or without prior notice.

3. What We Are Not

  • PerfectConnect is not an agency, employment platform, or housing provider.
  • We do not secure or procure employment or housing.
  • We do not monitor, supervise, or verify arrangements between users.
  • We do not guarantee that users are compliant with U.S. J-1 visa regulations or that their agencies are legitimate or active.
  • We do not offer legal, clinical, or immigration services.
  • PerfectConnect is not a dating app, employment agency, visa sponsor, legal advisor, or emergency service. Misrepresenting the nature of our services may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

4. User Responsibilities

All users are responsible for:

  • Vetting, interviewing, and performing background/reference checks,
  • Confirming that their agency is active, reputable, and legally operating under U.S. law,
  • Ensuring that all housing and employment actions are communicated with and approved by their agency and LCC,
  • Complying with all laws applicable to their location and status (e.g., J-1 visa terms, agency contracts, employment regulations).

PerfectConnect assumes no responsibility for any user decisions, nor do we intervene in any disputes that arise from arrangements made through the app.

You agree to use your legal name, truthful information, and an accurate age when signing up. Misrepresentation of your identity, age, or intentions on the app is a direct breach of these terms.

5. J-1 Visa and Program Eligibility Disclaimer

PerfectConnect is designed to support those involved in the J-1 Visa Au Pair Program. However, we are not responsible for verifying a user's visa status or their eligibility for the program.

We do not confirm whether users are:

  • Actively participating in the J-1 visa program,
  • In the process of obtaining a J-1 visa,
  • Or have already obtained one.

In addition, PerfectConnect does allow individuals who are not part of the J-1 visa program to use the app. Therefore, it is solely the user's responsibility to verify the status, legitimacy, and program affiliation of any other user (Host Family, Au Pair, or otherwise) before making any arrangements or connections.

6. Platform Services Overview

PerfectConnect is accessible via mobile apps (iOS and Android) and supported web browsers. As a digital platform, its services are organized into interactive modules designed to enhance user experience across devices.

Key platform elements include:

  • Mobile App Functionality: Users can download and use PerfectConnect through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Core features like PairConnect, PairHaven, and PairLink are fully integrated and optimized for mobile devices.
  • Web Accessibility: Some features are also available via web browser. Feature parity may differ depending on device and platform.
  • Cross-Platform Access: User accounts are synced across devices to allow seamless switching between mobile and web.
  • Future Enhancements: PerfectConnect may expand to include additional functionality (e.g., push notifications, in-app messaging enhancements, or localized experiences) to better serve the au pair and host family communities.

By using PerfectConnect, you acknowledge that platform performance may vary by device, internet connection, operating system, and update status.

7. Updates to Our Services

Our services may evolve over time. Please check our platform or contact support for the latest information and updates regarding PerfectConnect's features.

PerfectConnect may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time, including beta tools or experimental functions, without prior notice to users.

We reserve the right to add, change, or discontinue any feature, including those in PairSocials or PairBloom, without notice, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of such changes.

8. Eligibility to Use the App and Services

By requesting to use, registering for, or using PerfectConnect, you represent and warrant that you have the full right, authority, and legal capacity to enter into these Terms of Use, and you agree to comply with all terms and conditions set forth herein. You further confirm and warrant that you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • You are using PerfectConnect solely for purposes related to the au pair program, which includes:
    • Finding or offering live-in au pair care (PairConnect),
    • Making new connections or friendships within the au pair community (PairLink),
    • Locating or offering short-term housing during the rematch or transition process (PairHaven).
  • You understand that PerfectConnect is open to users affiliated with any au pair agency—however, it is solely your responsibility to verify that the individuals you engage with are actively participating in or eligible for the J-1 Visa program.
  • You are at least eighteen (18) years of age. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use the app or access its services.
  • The app is currently available only to Host Families who reside legally within the United States or Puerto Rico.

By continuing to use PerfectConnect, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for ensuring that your actions and connections are aligned with U.S. law, agency regulations, and the J-1 visa requirements, where applicable.

To protect our community, users must be truthful about their identity and age. PerfectConnect reserves the right to verify user details at any time. Any use of the app that violates age restrictions, impersonates another person, or attempts to deceive the platform will result in immediate suspension. By joining, you also agree to follow PairSocials Community Guidelines and all content policies across PairConnect, PairHaven, and PairLink.

9. Rules for User Conduct and Use of Services

9.1 Registration, Posting, and Content Guidelines

As a user of PerfectConnect, you are responsible for the content ("Content") you share, upload, or communicate through the app. "Content" includes any communication, messages, photos, videos, audio, reviews, profiles, or other material posted or transmitted via any part of the app—including PairConnect, PairLink, and PairHaven.

By using PerfectConnect, you agree to the following:

  • All Content you share must be for the purpose of finding or offering au pair care, connecting with other au pairs, or locating/providing temporary housing related to the J-1 cultural exchange program.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or using any part of the app or its features.
  • You must register your account in your own legal name, even if using the platform on behalf of someone else.
  • All content should be posted in English, as PerfectConnect currently operates in English only.
  • You are solely responsible for the Content you share and agree not to post or share anything, that is:
    • Defamatory, false, misleading, or abusive,
    • Obscene, profane, sexually explicit, or racially offensive,
    • Threatening, harassing, or promoting any unlawful acts,
    • Infringing on intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights,
    • Giving the impression of being official PerfectConnect content when it is not.

You confirm that:

  • You have the right and permission to post any content you submit (including content involving other individuals or minors),
  • Your opinions or reviews posted on the platform are genuinely held and truthful,
  • PerfectConnect reserves the right to edit, remove, or restrict content that is considered inappropriate, harmful, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.

Users must not use AI-generated, impersonated, or misleading images or bios in their profiles. Content must be original or clearly credited and intended to foster honest cultural exchange and connection.

9.2 Content License

By posting any Content on PerfectConnect, you grant us (and our affiliates, partners, successors, and licensees) a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, adapt, modify, distribute, and create derivative works from your Content for the purposes of operating and improving our services.

You also confirm that this use will not infringe upon any third-party rights.

9.3 Compliance with Laws

All users must comply with applicable laws and regulations when using PerfectConnect, including but not limited to U.S. laws, J-1 visa program guidelines, and agency-specific requirements.

9.4 User Feedback and Communication

We welcome feedback and suggestions related to PerfectConnect. However, any ideas, comments, or submissions you send us (through the app, email, social platforms, or surveys) become the sole property of PerfectConnect. We may use these freely without notice or compensation to you.

9.5 User-Generated Content Disclaimer

PerfectConnect is a user-generated platform. That means:

  • We do not vet, control, or verify every profile or post,
  • We disclaim any responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or truthfulness of user-submitted content, including false information, misleading representations, or defamatory comments,
  • Users agree to hold PerfectConnect harmless from any damages or issues arising from the content posted by others on the platform.

Opinions, advice, and posts made on the app do not represent PerfectConnect's views, and we do not endorse or verify them.

Under no circumstances will PerfectConnect be liable for:

  • Any losses or damages caused by relying on information shared by users,
  • Reviews, ratings, or comments posted about you by others (even if you disagree with them).

We are not obligated to remove any review or comment unless it violates these Terms. You may post one respectful rebuttal if you disagree with a review. Re-registering or deleting an account to remove reviews is not permitted.

9.6 Exclusive Use

If you are a Host Family, you may use PerfectConnect and its services solely to:

  • Find a compatible Au Pair to join your household (PairConnect),
  • Connect with other Host Families or approved housing providers during rematch or extension periods (PairHaven),
  • Arrange care support only for your immediate family, including your child(ren), legal dependents, or individuals for whom you are the legal guardian.

If you are an Au Pair, you may use PerfectConnect only to:

  • Seek Host Family placements for yourself (PairConnect),
  • Find safe and approved temporary housing during transitions (PairHaven),
  • Connect with other Au Pairs socially through our friend-finding feature (PairLink).

Users may not create an account on behalf of another individual or entity. All accounts must be registered and used by the individual they represent.

You are fully responsible for all activity conducted through your account. Your account is for your personal use only, and you may not assign, share, or transfer your account to any other individual or entity. Each user is responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and ensuring their account is used in accordance with these Terms.

10. Prohibited Uses

By accessing or using PerfectConnect and its services, you agree that you will not, under any circumstances:

  • Use the app or any related services in a way that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, libelous, discriminatory, sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise offensive or inappropriate,
  • Use PerfectConnect for any fraudulent or unlawful purposes, or for any purpose unrelated to the au pair exchange experience,
  • Misrepresent yourself, impersonate another person, or use another user's account,
  • Post false, misleading, or inaccurate information,
  • Attempt to re-register after your account has been suspended or terminated,
  • Engage in any activity that could disrupt or negatively affect the app or community,
  • Attempt to scrape, harvest, or access data in automated ways,
  • Use internal messaging for unauthorized commercial solicitation,
  • Post or link to harmful content or malware.
  • Users may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app's source code, APIs, or mobile functions.
  • Automated bots, crawlers, or scraping tools are not allowed on the app.

PerfectConnect reserves the right to:

  • Limit how many messages or actions users may take daily,
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for violations,
  • Restrict access based on IP address if abuse is detected.
  • Share, post, or distribute any other user's profile, photos, or personal information outside the platform without their explicit written consent.

If you misuse or scrape personal or copyrighted content from PerfectConnect, you agree to pay up to $10,000 USD per day for each day of misuse, in addition to other legal remedies.

11. Background and Verification Checks

11.1 User-Initiated and Platform Verification

As part of PerfectConnect's commitment to user safety and transparency, Au Pairs and Host Families may voluntarily provide or authorize identity verification or documentation checks. This may include checks with:

  • The au pair's agency (if partnered with PerfectConnect),
  • U.S.-based authorities responsible for overseeing J-1 visa compliance,
  • International program oversight organizations such as IAPA (International Au Pair Association) or Alliance for International Exchange.

By registering, you authorize us to validate the information you provide at any time, whether through direct checks with your agency or by reviewing publicly available safety-related information. This includes validating whether an au pair is truly associated with an agency and whether a host family is legally eligible.

11.2 We Reserve the Right to Verify, Not the Obligation

PerfectConnect reserves the right—but not the obligation—to perform verification checks for the safety and integrity of our app. These checks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Name and identity confirmation,
  • Affiliation with an authorized agency,
  • Eligibility under the J-1 visa program.
  • For mobile app compliance, we may verify device-based identifiers or OS settings to support app integrity, fraud prevention, or user eligibility.

A verified profile does not guarantee full vetting or approval by a government body or oversight group.

11.3 Action Based on Verification Results

If PerfectConnect determines that:

  • A user has provided false information,
  • Is misrepresenting their agency or visa status,
  • Or otherwise violates any of our Terms of Use,

…we may, at our sole discretion, suspend or permanently terminate that user's account without prior notice.

11.4 Acknowledgment and Consent

By using PerfectConnect, you agree to the possibility of these verification processes. If you do not want these checks to be performed, please do not use the platform.

12. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

12.1 General Disclaimer

PerfectConnect provides a platform to facilitate introductions and connections between Au Pairs, Host Families, and temporary housing providers. We do not control, monitor, or verify the actions, decisions, or communications of users on or off the app.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • PerfectConnect is not an agency,
  • We do not employ, contract, or assign Au Pairs or Host Families,
  • We do not supervise, manage, or control housing arrangements, safety procedures, transportation, or the quality of any match.

Any arrangements made through PerfectConnect are at the sole discretion and risk of the individuals involved. You understand and accept that any risks or disputes that arise between users are not the responsibility of PerfectConnect.

12.2 No Guarantees

We do not:

  • Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of profiles, reviews, or messages,
  • Guarantee that you will find a match or placement,
  • Guarantee that users are truthful or currently active in the J-1 visa program.

While we aim to promote safety and integrity, we do not guarantee or verify every user's identity, agency affiliation, or legal status.

PerfectConnect does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. The services are provided "as-is" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We are not responsible for:

  • Third-party content,
  • Errors in listings or user profiles,
  • Technical issues or downtime,
  • Any loss or damages from platform use.

12.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PerfectConnect and its team, affiliates, developers, or partners shall not be liable for:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
  • Loss of data, revenue, or reputation,
  • Harm caused by user actions or misinformation,
  • In-person meetings or housing arrangements facilitated via the platform.

This includes, but is not limited to, disputes between users, failed matches, false representations, and offline interactions resulting from connections made on the app.

12.4 Platform Availability

We do not guarantee:

  • That the app will always be accessible,
  • That it will function without bugs or outages,
  • That it will be compatible with all devices or browsers.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time without notice.

PerfectConnect is a full native mobile application available on iOS and Android. While we strive for uninterrupted service, downtime due to maintenance, updates, or third-party outages (e.g., Firebase) may occur.

13. User Disputes and Release of Liability

13.1 User Disputes

PerfectConnect is not involved in the actual interactions, agreements, or arrangements between users—whether Host Families, Au Pairs, or Temporary Housing Hosts. You are solely responsible for your communications, decisions, and agreements made on or off the platform.

If a dispute arises between you and another user, you agree that:

  • You will resolve disputes directly with the other party,
  • PerfectConnect will not mediate unless required by law,
  • You release PerfectConnect from any claims, damages, or liabilities related to user disputes.

This includes:

  • Misunderstandings about visa or agency affiliation,
  • Housing arrangements/issues through PairHaven,
  • Social connections through PairLink,
  • Matches made through PairConnect,
  • Payments handled outside the platform.

Moderators may intervene or remove posts/comments from PairSocials or PairBloom to de-escalate disputes when necessary, even without a formal complaint.

13.2 Reporting Misuse

We take user safety seriously. If you believe someone is violating these Terms or acting unlawfully:

  • You may report them through the app or email our support team,
  • We may investigate but are not obligated to take action unless legally required.

14. Termination of Accounts

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, shadowban, temporarily pause or permanently terminate your access to PerfectConnect with or without notice—if:

  • You violate these Terms or applicable law,
  • Fraud, abuse, or unsafe behavior is reported,
  • Your conduct harms the safety, integrity, or reputation of the platform.

Termination may occur without prior notice. If your account is terminated:

  • You may lose access to your profile, credits, or matches,
  • Your obligations under these Terms still apply (e.g., liability, dispute resolution).

You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

We may suspend or restrict accounts found exploiting mobile app functionality or violating OS-level permissions or guidelines (e.g., jailbroken/rooted devices).

15. Privacy and Data Use

By using PerfectConnect, you agree to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy, including:

  • Registration info (name, profile, agency details, location),
  • Verified contact details (email and phone),
  • Login method (password or one-time code),
  • Geo-location data for matching and rematch features,
  • Usage data for analytics and service improvement,
  • Optional profile verifications through third parties or agencies.

We will never sell your data. You may request data correction or deletion by submitting a message through our Page.

15.1 Data Storage and Retention

PerfectConnect retains your personal data for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide and improve our services,
  • Fulfill contractual and legal obligations,
  • Resolve disputes,
  • Prevent fraud or abuse,
  • Maintain security and platform integrity.

If you delete your account or stop using PerfectConnect, some data may still be retained for legal, compliance, and record-keeping purposes. We store all user data securely using industry-standard practices.

15.2 Email Communication and Marketing

By creating an account on PerfectConnect, you agree to receive:

  • Service and system notifications,
  • Legal updates or account alerts,
  • Marketing and promotional messages, including newsletters, new features, or offers.

15.2 Exporting/Deleting User Data ("Right to Access")

You may request a copy of the personal data associated with your account or ask that it be deleted. Please submit your request through our Contact Page. We reserve the right to retain certain data as required by law.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our messages. Note that opting out of promotional emails does not stop essential communication about your account or the platform.

The app may request access to device-specific permissions (e.g., camera, microphone, push notifications, and location data). These are optional but may be required for full app functionality. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use and any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising from or related to your use of PerfectConnect—including the platform, services, or any associated agreements—shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

By using PerfectConnect, you agree that:

  • Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Wyoming, United States.
  • You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objections related to venue or inconvenient forum.

This jurisdiction clause applies regardless of your location as a user. If you are accessing the platform from outside of the United States, you are still bound by these jurisdictional terms.

18. Updates to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When changes are made, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and notify users where appropriate.

Changes to the app's delivery method will be clearly communicated via update logs, Terms of Use revisions, or in-app notifications.

By continuing to use PerfectConnect after updates are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

19. Assumption of Risk

While PerfectConnect takes reasonable steps to promote safety on the platform—such as verification options, reporting tools, and user guidelines—interacting with others through an online service still carries inherent risks.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • PerfectConnect does not supervise, train, monitor, or certify users, including Au Pairs, Host Families, or Temporary Hosts,
  • We cannot guarantee the behavior, background, or intent of other users—whether online or during any offline interaction,
  • You assume all responsibility and risk when using the platform, including any physical meetings, housing arrangements, or placements facilitated by the app,
  • Risks may include (but are not limited to) fraud, injury, illness, misrepresentation, emotional harm, or property damage.
  • By downloading or installing the app, you acknowledge risks inherent to using mobile platforms, including data loss, storage limits, and third-party access (e.g., cloud backup platforms or app permissions).

You agree to take all reasonable precautions before interacting with any user of the platform and to not rely solely on verification tools or platform indicators when making decisions.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PerfectConnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, income, revenue, profits, or business,
  • Platform interruptions, system failures, delays, or errors,
  • Unauthorized access, content removal, or profile suspension,
  • Injuries or damages arising from interactions between users,
  • Any loss or damage caused by viruses, bugs, or technical malfunctions.

This applies even if PerfectConnect has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Aggregate Liability Cap

In no event shall PerfectConnect's total liability to you for all claims—regardless of the form of action (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise)—exceed the total amount paid by you for credits or services in the previous 3 months.

If no payment has been made, our total liability shall not exceed twenty-five U.S. dollars ($25.00).

We are not liable for damage to devices resulting from download, use, or malfunction of the app, unless caused by our gross negligence.

21. No Liability for User Conduct or Off-Platform Interactions

PerfectConnect shall not be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive, that arise from or relate to:

  • The conduct, actions, or decisions of any user (Au Pair, Host Family, or Temporary Housing provider),
  • Information provided by users on their profile, messages, or shared content,
  • Interactions or arrangements made through the platform or resulting from platform connections—whether online or offline,
  • Any misrepresentation, fraudulent behavior, or false information shared by users,
  • Any relationships or agreements formed outside of PerfectConnect using user information or profiles.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Physical injuries, emotional harm, theft, financial loss, or any other impact caused by offline meetings or living arrangements,
  • Situations involving users who register under false identities, mislead others, or act with harmful intent.
  • We are not responsible for any in-person meetups, workshops, or third-party services discovered through PairSocials, PairBloom, or any other part of the app. Users are solely responsible for exercising caution and performing due diligence.

22. Informational Use Only — No Professional Advice

All content, advice, or information provided on PerfectConnect, including messaging, FAQs, blog content, or support responses, is for general informational purposes only.

We do not offer or replace:

  • Professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.

You agree that:

  • Any decisions made based on content within the app are at your own discretion,
  • If you require advice in a specific area (legal, medical, emotional, etc.), you should consult a qualified, licensed professional.
  • Content shared via PairBloom workshops or blog articles is educational in nature and not intended to replace licensed advice, therapy, immigration consultation, or legal counsel.

23. Legal Protections & Claims

23.1 Indemnification

By using PerfectConnect, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PerfectConnect, its founders, affiliates, employees, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from:

  • Any content you post, share, or transmit through the app;
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation;
  • Any relationship, dispute, or interaction between you and other users, including Au Pairs, Host Families, or Housing Hosts;
  • Any claims made by third parties related to your conduct, communication, or content within the platform.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PerfectConnect from claims arising from misuse of app features, including content shared via PairSocials, unauthorized recordings of workshops, or breach of app store or device terms.

24. Security, Verification, and Location Features

24.1 Phone Number and Email Capture & Verification

To maintain the safety, reliability, and accountability of PerfectConnect, all users are required to verify both their phone number and email address upon registration or login.

  • Verification is done through SMS verification codes and email confirmation links.
  • Users agree to provide valid, current, and accurate contact information.
  • You may not create or use an account with a phone number or email address that does not belong to you.
  • Our mobile app may collect additional signals (such as device identifiers or IP-based geolocation) to verify account access, secure content, or personalize your community feed (e.g., showing nearby posts in PairSocials).
  • Location-based services may be used to power features in PairHaven or filter connections.

We may also use your contact information to send important platform updates, account-related notices, or security alerts.

24.2 Login via Password or Verification Code

PerfectConnect offers secure access through either:

  • A user-generated password, or
  • A one-time verification code sent to your verified phone or email.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and account access. Sharing credentials or unauthorized access may result in suspension or termination.

24.3 Geo-Location Usage

Geolocation services are used within the app for features such as:

  • Matching users by proximity (especially important for temporary housing/rematch scenarios),
  • Displaying relevant connections based on location (e.g., nearby au pairs or host families).

By using PerfectConnect, you consent to the use of your device's location services for app functionality. You may disable this in your device settings, but doing so may limit core functions.

24.4 Credit Purchase Flow

Some features of PerfectConnect may be unlocked through a credit-based system (e.g., additional matches, premium visibility, housing visibility, etc.).

All credit purchases are processed securely through Stripe (see Section 3). By purchasing credits:

  • You agree that all purchases are final and non-refundable,
  • You will not attempt to bypass the system or use unauthorized payment methods,
  • You accept that credits do not represent real-world currency and hold no cash value outside the app.

We reserve the right to modify credit pricing, packages, or usage policies at any time with or without prior notice.

24.5 Geo-Location and Radius Matching

PerfectConnect uses location data to help match users within a practical geographic range. This includes:

  • Displaying nearby Host Families or Au Pairs,
  • Suggesting temporary housing during rematch,
  • Connecting with local Au Pairs for social support via PairLink.

Location is determined via GPS or browser-based geolocation features (with your device's permission). You may disable location access in your device settings, but doing so may limit functionality of the app.

Your location data is never sold and is used only to improve user experience and relevant results.

25. In-App Messaging

25.1 Messaging Feature Overview

PerfectConnect includes an internal messaging feature that allows users (Au Pairs, Host Families, and Temporary Housing Providers) to connect securely through the app without disclosing personal contact details.

  • PairSocials is not considered private messaging. All public posts and comments are moderated and may be flagged or removed if they violate the community guidelines.
  • Workshop comments may also be visible to other enrolled users. Do not share private info in public comment threads.

25.2 Credit-Based Messaging Access

Access to messaging features may be restricted or limited based on a credit-based system, where users:

  • Must purchase or earn credits to initiate conversations,
  • May receive a limited number of free messages depending on account type,
  • Agree that all credit purchases are non-refundable (see Section 12.4 and Section 3 on Stripe processing).

PerfectConnect reserves the right to:

  • Set or change the number of credits required to unlock certain interactions,
  • Offer promotional or trial access to messaging features,
  • Limit how many messages can be sent daily to prevent spam and abuse.

25.3 Messaging Rules

When using in-app messaging, you agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or deceive other users,
  • Send messages containing abusive, inappropriate, or misleading content,
  • Use messaging for commercial purposes outside of PerfectConnect's intended use,
  • Solicit users for unrelated services or off-platform communication.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

25.4 Privacy and Safety

  • Conversations are intended to remain within the app,
  • PerfectConnect does not monitor every message but may investigate reports of misuse,
  • You should never share sensitive personal, financial, or location information through the chat.
  • Messages and media shared through the app are not guaranteed to be stored permanently. We do not offer long-term backup or retrieval of past messages or shared files.

26. Intellectual Property and Site Use Restrictions

All content and systems related to PerfectConnect—including but not limited to the app interface, design, icons, branding elements, images, video, audio, downloadable materials, and source code—are the intellectual property of PerfectConnect, its founders, or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may use the app solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes related to finding or providing au pair services, housing, or social connection. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, download, transmit, or modify any part of the app or its materials without written permission;
  • Use robots, bots, spiders, scrapers, or other automated or manual processes to access, collect, or harvest data from the app;
  • Mass-download or "mirror" the app;
  • Establish unauthorized links from other websites;
  • Use PerfectConnect content to create derivative works, resell listings, or build a competitive platform.

You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any content or data through the app that is:

  • Threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, or illegal;
  • Infringing on intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • Containing viruses, malware, or harmful scripts;
  • Designed to mislead or deceive other users or PerfectConnect.
  • Content from PairBloom (including workshops, downloads, or recordings) is protected by copyright and may not be copied, reshared, or distributed without written permission.
  • User-generated content in PairSocials must comply with copyright and attribution laws.

Violating these terms may result in immediate suspension, legal action, and/or claims for damages.

27. External Links and Third-Party Content

PerfectConnect may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services, including advertisements, payment processors (such as Stripe), agency websites, or external resources. These links are provided solely for your reference and convenience.

We do not control these external sites, and their inclusion does not constitute an endorsement of their content, services, products, or privacy practices. Each third-party site is governed by its own terms of use and privacy policies.

By using PerfectConnect, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites,
  • We disclaim all liability that may arise from accessing or using such external links or services,
  • You access third-party content at your own risk.
  • Some blog posts may contain affiliate links or suggestions for third-party services. These are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse or guarantee third-party offers.

You agree to hold PerfectConnect harmless from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from the use of third-party sites or services linked through the app.

28. No Warranties and Platform Disclaimers

The PerfectConnect platform, services, and all related information—such as user profiles, reviews, messages, housing listings, friend matches, affiliate links, and third-party materials—are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not make any warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content submitted by users,
  • The fitness of any service or match for a particular purpose,
  • Continuous, error-free, virus-free, or secure access to the platform,
  • That the information or materials provided will meet your expectations or outcomes.
  • The mobile app is offered "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee availability of features across all devices, operating systems, or updates.
  • Workshop content is not guaranteed to meet specific learning outcomes or qualify for certification.

We do not endorse or accept responsibility for:

  • Opinions, advice, reviews, or statements made by other users,
  • The actions or performance of any Au Pair, Host Family, or temporary housing provider,
  • Any third-party services, links, or affiliate content accessible through the platform.

All users are solely responsible for verifying the truth, reliability, and suitability of the connections they make through the app.

We are not responsible for user-submitted media, including profile pictures, children's images, or other personal content. You upload photos and videos at your own discretion and risk.

While we discourage the upload of children's faces, we do not moderate or review media unless reported.

By uploading media, you acknowledge:

  • We do not monitor or guarantee the security of media,
  • We are not liable if your media is copied, shared, misused, or downloaded by another user,
  • You must comply with your country's child protection, privacy, and consent laws before uploading photos of minors.

29. Corporate, Agency, or Organization Use

If you are accessing PerfectConnect on behalf of an agency, organization, or corporate user:

  • You may use the information provided for internal, non-commercial purposes only,
  • This information may not be copied, shared, or redistributed without prior written permission,
  • The information remains the intellectual property of PerfectConnect or its providers,
  • We are not liable for how your organization interprets or uses this data.
  • Use of the app on behalf of an agency, organization, or school requires written permission. You may not sell or distribute workshop content under your own brand or organization.

All such use must comply with applicable local, national, and international laws.

30. Third-Party Assets and Canva Content

PerfectConnect may include images, icons, videos, and other design elements that are licensed from Canva or third-party apps available within Canva's platform.

Use of Visual Assets

Some images, icons, and videos used in PerfectConnect are licensed from Canva Pro. These are for display within the app only and may not be copied, downloaded, or reused by users for any personal or commercial purposes.

By using PerfectConnect, you acknowledge that:

  • These visual and media assets are used under appropriate Canva licensing and remain the intellectual property of Canva or its contributors,
  • You may not copy, download, redistribute, or reuse any Canva-based content from PerfectConnect outside the app, unless explicitly permitted,
  • Any trademarks, logos, or branding from Canva or third-party providers remain their property and are used under license or fair use where applicable.

Visual content used in the app or blog (such as icons or illustrations) may include licensed third-party or Canva-provided assets, used under proper terms. Users may not reuse this content outside of PerfectConnect.

PerfectConnect may rely on third-party providers for payments, analytics, communication, hosting, and visual content. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

If you believe any content on the platform violates licensing terms, please contact us through our Contact Page by submitting a message using the contact form.

31. One Account Per User

To maintain trust and fair use, each user is allowed to register only one account on PerfectConnect. Multiple accounts or impersonating another individual is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension.

Users may not create multiple accounts to gain additional promotional credits, circumvent bans, or repost previously removed content in PairSocials.

32. Account Sharing is Not Allowed

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account with others, give others access to your profile, or use someone else's account. Violations may result in suspension or termination without notice.

Sharing access to a PairBloom workshop or blog membership is strictly prohibited. Each user must use their own account to access paid or restricted content.

33. No Guarantee of User Trustworthiness

PerfectConnect does not verify or guarantee the character, background, or trustworthiness of any user. All users should exercise caution and judgment when connecting with others on the platform—both online and offline.

We do not perform background checks unless explicitly stated. Posts, comments, and workshop content are user-generated and should not be assumed to reflect verified facts or credentials.

34. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.

If we make material changes, we will:

  • Post the updated Terms on our website or in-app,
  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Terms,
  • Provide notice through the platform or via email (if you have an active account).

If new features such as PairBloom, PairSocials, or third-party integrations are introduced, we may update these terms. Continued use of those features indicates agreement.

By continuing to use PerfectConnect after the updated Terms are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised version. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the platform.

35. User Feedback and Suggestions

We welcome your feedback and ideas to help us improve PerfectConnect. However, by submitting suggestions, ideas, proposals, or other content, you agree that:

  • Your submissions are voluntary and non-confidential,
  • We may use, copy, modify, or distribute them for any purpose,
  • You will not receive compensation or credit for your suggestions,
  • You waive any rights to such submissions, including any claim of ownership or control.
  • Suggestions regarding workshops, blog content, or social features may be used without compensation or obligation to you.

36. Data Retention

When you delete your account or stop using PerfectConnect, we may retain certain information as necessary for:

  • Legal compliance,
  • Fraud prevention,
  • Dispute resolution,
  • Security and platform integrity.

We only retain data for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.

App usage data, such as session activity, interaction logs, or crash diagnostics, may be collected to improve performance and monitor functionality across devices.

We may retain records of PairSocials activity, blog comments, and PairBloom workshop enrollment history. Deleted posts may be stored briefly in backups for moderation purposes.

37. Force Majeure

PerfectConnect shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events outside of our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Acts of God (natural disasters, floods, wildfires, etc.),
  • War, riots, or terrorism,
  • Internet outages, service disruptions, or infrastructure failures,
  • Labor strikes or government actions,
  • Pandemics, epidemics, or related government restrictions.

Access to workshops or community features may be delayed or unavailable due to events outside our control, including platform outages or app store disruptions.

These events shall not be considered a breach of these Terms.

38. Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe any content on PerfectConnect infringes upon your copyright, please notify us by submitting a message through our Contact Page and include the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed,
  • The URL or screenshot of the content in question,
  • Your full name, contact information, and signature (physical or electronic),
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.

We will review and, where appropriate, remove the content

39. Beta Features and Experimental Use

From time to time, we may offer access to new or experimental features labeled as "Beta". These features are:

  • Provided "as-is" with no guarantee of functionality or continued availability,
  • May be changed, limited, or removed without notice.
  • Used at your own risk, with the understanding that they may not perform as expected.
  • PairBloom and certain blog-based features may still be in beta. Features may change or be removed without prior notice, and functionality is not guaranteed.

We appreciate your participation and feedback in helping us improve future versions of the app.

40. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Including opt-out and class action details.

Any disputes related to workshops, blog purchases, or user interactions in PairSocials are subject to these same dispute terms.

We always hope to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly. However, if a legal dispute arises between you and PerfectConnect, we agree to resolve it through binding arbitration rather than in court—unless you choose to opt out as described below.

40.1 Agreement to Arbitrate

By using PerfectConnect, you agree that any dispute, claim, or disagreement between you and us—related to these Terms, the platform, or services—will be resolved through final and binding arbitration, not in court. This applies to all legal claims, whether based on contract, tort, or otherwise.

An independent and neutral arbitrator will make the final decision. You agree to give up your right to a jury trial or to bring claims in front of a judge (except for certain types of claims listed below).

40.2 Exceptions

This agreement to arbitrate does not apply to:

  • Small claims under the amount allowed in your local small claims court,
  • Legal actions for injunctive relief to prevent unauthorized use of the platform, content, or intellectual property,
  • Criminal complaints or government investigations.

40.3 Location and Rules

Unless otherwise agreed, arbitration will take place in Wyoming, USA. The process will follow the rules of a recognized arbitration provider such as the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and will be conducted in English.

40.4 Limiting Class Actions

You and PerfectConnect agree that any dispute will be handled individually, not as part of a class action, joint claim, or group proceeding.

40.5 Opt-Out Option

If you do not want to be bound by this arbitration agreement, you may opt out by sending an email to legal@perfectconnectapp.com within 30 days of your account creation. Your email must include your full name, registered email address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect your other rights or use of the platform.

41. Governing Law and Jurisdiction (cross-reference)

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The Federal Arbitration Act also governs the interpretation and enforcement of the arbitration clause in Section 13.

If for any reason the Arbitration Agreement does not apply to a dispute (for example, you opted out or the dispute qualifies for small claims court), you and PerfectConnect agree that any legal proceedings will take place exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

42. Consent to Electronic Communication

By using PerfectConnect, you agree to receive communications from us electronically, including:

  • Account notices and updates,
  • Legal disclosures,
  • Promotional messages (if you've opted in),
  • System alerts or required information about your activity on the platform.

These communications may be sent via:

  • Email,
  • In-app messaging,
  • Mobile push notifications,
  • Or posted to your user dashboard.

You are responsible for keeping your contact information, especially your email address, up to date in your account settings. You agree to check your messages and email regularly to stay informed.

By using features such as PairBloom and PairSocials, you consent to receive updates, confirmations, and community-related communications electronically, including push notifications and emails.

By installing the mobile app, you consent to receiving mobile push notifications. You can manage or disable notifications in your device settings.

43. Data Collection and Privacy (U.S.-based)

By using PerfectConnect, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We collect and process information you provide during registration and while using the app, including but not limited to:

  • Name, email address, location, profile content,
  • Usage data such as app activity and interactions.

We use this data to:

  • Operate and personalize the platform,
  • Connect users based on preferences,
  • Maintain safety, verify identity, and improve services.

We store data only as long as necessary to fulfill these purposes or as required by law. You may request deletion or correction of your data by submitting a message through our Contact Page.

PairSocials activity (likes, comments, posts) and PairBloom usage (workshop participation) may be tracked to personalize user experience and improve platform safety, per our Privacy Policy.

44. Miscellaneous

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, employer-employee, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and PerfectConnect.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms are binding upon and will benefit the respective successors, legal representatives, and permitted assigns of both you and PerfectConnect.

  • Terms referring to "the Platform" include community features, blogs, and workshops.
  • If any feature (e.g., PairBloom) is sunset or rebranded, your rights under these terms remain tied to the functionality offered at time of use.

45. Severability

If any part of these Terms—other than Section 13 (Arbitration Agreement)—is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court, that specific term shall be modified to reflect the original intent as closely as possible in a valid and enforceable way.

All remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

46. U.S. Compliance & Legal Requirements

PerfectConnect is operated in the United States and complies with applicable U.S. federal and state regulations to the best of our ability. Users are responsible for:

  • Ensuring their conduct aligns with local, state, and federal laws,
  • Not using the platform to violate immigration or labor laws,
  • Following applicable rules of the J-1 visa program where relevant.
  • PairBloom content is intended for educational purposes only and does not qualify as formal accreditation or compliance training under U.S. law.

While we comply with standard online service laws (such as COPPA, CAN-SPAM, and the FTC Act), PerfectConnect is not intended for users under 18 years old.

If additional compliance is needed based on your location or organization, it is your responsibility to determine how the platform may or may not be used lawfully.

PerfectConnect complies with platform-specific rules (Apple Developer Program License Agreement, Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement) and will maintain adherence to applicable app marketplace policies.

47. Security of Your Data

PerfectConnect implements industry-standard security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal information. These measures include encryption, secure authentication, data minimization, and monitoring to prevent unauthorized access.

However, no platform can guarantee complete security. By using PerfectConnect, you acknowledge that:

  • We cannot ensure absolute protection of your data from cyber threats,
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information,
  • In the event of a data breach that affects your account, we will notify you in accordance with applicable U.S. law.

We encourage all users to use strong passwords, log out after each session, and report suspicious behavior by submitting a message through our Contact Page.

48. Children's Privacy

PerfectConnect is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years old. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Parents or guardians who believe their child has used PerfectConnect may contact us through our Contact Page.

49. International Use

PerfectConnect is based in the United States and intended for use by users within the U.S. By accessing the platform from outside the U.S., you understand and agree that your information may be processed and stored in the U.S., and that you are responsible for compliance with local laws in your jurisdiction.

50. Survival of Terms

Certain provisions of these Terms of Use will survive termination of your account or access to the platform, including but not limited to: Disclaimers (Section 12), Limitation of Liability (Sections 20–22), Indemnification (Section 23), Dispute Resolution (Section 40), and any provisions relating to intellectual property or data use.

51. User Testimonials and Content Use

By submitting feedback, testimonials, reviews, or participating in user interviews, you grant PerfectConnect the right to use your statements, images, or quotes for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes. We will request explicit consent for any identifiable personal content (e.g., photos or names).

52. Community Behavior Standards (Planned Features)

PerfectConnect may introduce community-based features in the future, such as group chats, forums, or event-based interactions. If and when these features are launched, all users who choose to participate agree to treat others with respect and dignity. Hate speech, harassment, threats, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to monitor, restrict, or suspend access to these features for any user who violates these standards. Participation in community spaces will remain optional.

53. Law Enforcement and Legal Requests

We may disclose user data if required by law, subpoena, or government request. We will notify the user unless legally prohibited. We reserve the right to challenge overbroad or invalid requests to protect user privacy where appropriate.

54. Prohibited Uses (optional addition for rooted/jailbroken devices)

You may not use the app on rooted or jailbroken devices if such use interferes with the secure operation of PerfectConnect or bypasses platform restrictions.

55. Moderation and Enforcement

PerfectConnect reserves the right to monitor, remove, or restrict content or users who violate these Terms of Use, including behavior in PairSocials, PairBloom, or any part of the app. Moderator and admin decisions are final and may be appealed by submitting a message through our Contact Page.

Users are expected to follow community guidelines where applicable.

56. Community and Workshop Termination

PerfectConnect may terminate or suspend access to community features, workshops, or blog content at any time for violations of these Terms or for platform updates. Users who have purchased access to workshops will retain access for the duration promised unless otherwise stated. No refunds will be issued for banned users unless required by law.

57. Automated Monitoring and Flagging (Optional)

To ensure community safety, certain activity (such as messages, posts, or comments) may be automatically flagged or reviewed for violations of our guidelines. This includes but is not limited to bullying, harassment, spam, or sharing of private information. Flagging does not always result in removal; human moderation ensures fair judgment.

58. General Payment Terms

PerfectConnect offers users the option to purchase credits or subscribe to premium plans that unlock additional features. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable.
  • Credits and discounts may have expiration dates communicated at the time of purchase or promotion.
  • PerfectConnect may modify, discontinue, or update credit offerings and subscription plans at any time without prior notice.
  • Expired credits and unused discounts will not be reinstated or refunded.

1. No Refunds

All payments made through PerfectConnect are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including for:

  • Unused credits,
  • Early subscription cancellations,
  • Dissatisfaction with features or services.

This applies to purchases made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or any third-party processor.

2. Credit Expiration

Purchased credits may expire after a defined period (e.g., 12 months).

  • This expiration period will be clearly communicated during purchase or shown in your user dashboard.
  • Expired credits cannot be reinstated, refunded, or extended.

3. Promotional Credits and Discounts

  • Promo codes, limited-time offers, and discount credits must be used before their stated expiration date.
  • These offers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.
  • PerfectConnect reserves the right to modify or end promotions at any time without prior notice.

4. Fraudulent Use or Abuse

Attempting to exploit the payment or promo system—including creating fake accounts, stacking promo codes, or similar misuse—may result in:

  • Suspension or banning of your account,
  • Removal of earned or applied credits,
  • Disqualification from future offers.

5. Responsibility for Charges

You are responsible for maintaining a valid, up-to-date payment method.

  • Failed payments, chargebacks, or payment disputes may result in temporary account suspension until the issue is resolved.

6. In-App Purchase Disclaimers (Apple & Google)

Purchases made via the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to their respective terms and policies. PerfectConnect does not control or process refunds for those platforms.

Additional notices:

  • Credit Transferability: Credits are tied to your account and cannot be sold, gifted, or transferred.
  • Subscription Changes: Features and pricing are subject to change; continued use implies acceptance.
  • Failed Payment Attempts: We may retry failed payments up to three (3) times before limiting access.
  • Payment Processor Note: All payments are securely processed through Stripe or platform-specific gateways. We do not store your payment credentials.

59. Subscription Renewals and Cancellations

If you purchase a recurring subscription (such as a monthly or annual plan) through PerfectConnect, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each renewal period.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by following the platform-specific cancellation instructions (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play).
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access until the end of that period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods unless required by law.

It is your responsibility to manage your subscription and cancel in advance if you do not wish to be charged.

📱 Apple App Store & Google Play Specific Notice

If you purchased your subscription via the Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • You must manage and cancel your subscription directly through your Apple or Google account.
  • Deleting the app or your PerfectConnect account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
  • PerfectConnect is not able to issue refunds or make cancellations for subscriptions purchased via Apple or Google.

60. App Store & Google Play Subscription Billing Terms

If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

  • Your plan may automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the renewal at the then-current subscription rate.

Managing or Canceling Your Subscription:

  • Apple users: Manage via iTunes & App Store Account Settings
  • Android users: Manage via Google Play Subscriptions

Please note:

  • PerfectConnect does not process refunds or cancellations for purchases made through Apple or Google.
  • All such requests must be handled directly with the respective platform, according to their billing and refund policies.

61. Credit Expiration and Use

All credits purchased or earned through promotions may have an expiration date, which will be clearly displayed in your account under your Credit Balance. Expired credits will no longer be redeemable for features, workshops, or services. It is your responsibility to use credits before the stated expiration.

By using PerfectConnect, you agree to the following:

  • Expiration Visibility: You are responsible for tracking credit usage and expiration within your account. PerfectConnect may display reminders, but we do not guarantee alerts prior to expiration.
  • Non-Redeemable After Expiry: Expired credits cannot be redeemed, reinstated, or refunded under any circumstances.
  • One Account Only: Credits are non-transferable, may not be gifted or sold, and are only usable on the account through which they were issued or purchased.
  • Promotional Credit Terms: Credits issued through promotions, referrals, or limited-time offers are subject to additional restrictions and must be used before the stated deadline.

62. User Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your PerfectConnect account at any time by submitting a message through our Contact Page. Upon confirmation, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

  • Deleting the app from your device does not constitute account deletion.
  • Subscriptions managed through Apple or Google must be canceled separately.
  • Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

63. Third-Party Integrations Disclaimer

PerfectConnect may integrate with third-party tools and services (e.g., Google Maps, Stripe, analytics tools). We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content provided by third-party services.

  • Use of third-party features is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
  • We do not endorse or guarantee third-party services and disclaim liability arising from their use.

64. User-Generated Content Licensing

By posting or uploading content (including comments, testimonials, blog responses, images, or videos) to any area of PerfectConnect, including PairSocials or PairBloom, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute this content for platform purposes, including promotional use.

  • You retain ownership of your content.
  • We will not sell your content to third parties without consent.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you post.

65. Workshop Participation & Liability Waiver

By purchasing or participating in any PairBloom workshop (live or pre-recorded), you acknowledge that:

  • The workshops are educational and not a substitute for professional advice.
  • You participate at your own risk.
  • PerfectConnect and its affiliates are not liable for any outcomes, injuries, or losses resulting from workshop participation.

If a workshop is hosted by a third party, you agree to any additional terms set by that host.

66. Promo Code Stacking Limitations

Only one promotional code may be used per transaction unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Attempting to stack promo codes may result in invalidation of the purchase or promotional offer.
  • Misuse of promo codes may result in account restriction or forfeiture of credits.

67. App Store & Google Policy Compliance Reminder

PerfectConnect complies with the Apple Developer Program License Agreement and Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.

  • Use of the app is subject to Apple's and Google's respective terms.
  • Users must manage subscriptions through their Apple or Google accounts.
  • Any violations of App Store or Google Play policies may result in account suspension or restricted access.

68. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from the use of PerfectConnect, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution first by contacting support.

  • If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), located in the state of California, USA.
  • Each party bears its own costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.
  • This clause does not apply to claims of intellectual property infringement or misuse of the platform.

69. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any claim or dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

  • You waive any right to participate in a class action against PerfectConnect.
  • The arbitrator may only award relief to you individually.
